AAP begins national membership drive

The Aam Aadmi Party Friday launched its free national membership drive named as "Main bhi Aam Aadmi".Five ways to become AAP member include sending an SMS or giving a missed call on "07798220033", registering on the AAP website, getting registered at the party's membership camps and by filling a form with copy of voter ID attached to it.Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said from now onwards no one will have to pay a single penny to become the member of AAP."We have a target of one crore membership by Jan 26," said Kejriwal, adding that already 300,000 membership applications had been received online.Till now, one had to pay a Rs.10 membership fee to join the party.
