Universal Group of Institutions organised five days Faculty Development Programme on Teaching Learning Excellence to Create  a wow experience in class. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Padmakumar Nair, Director L. M. Thapar School of Management, Thapar University, Dera Bassi.Dr. Nair, Director, L. M. Thapar said that we have to learn new things as per the changing environment. He focused more on the education which makes students intellectual ready than corporate ready with many examples of Steve Jobs, Mahatma Gandhi etc. He further elaborated on Knowing and freeing. He also discussed various issues in education like faculty ,fellow students ,finance  & facility ,facilitation,motivation,isomorphismHe also focused on Hybrid approach to higher education and Individual Psychology to understand the student in a right way.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Director UIAMS, Panjab University, Chandigarh informed fundamentals of effective teaching learning. He told about various methodologies in order to have wow experience in the classroom. He also enlightens the faculty members on how to deliver engaging classrooms session and also put emphasis on teaching effectively in classes with more than 60 students.Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Chairman, Universal Group of Institutions emphasised on learning the new mythologies with the changing environment in education. He also put emphasis on various styles of learning to be implemented in the classrooms.
