Deputy CM Launches Country's First Immunisation Mobile App

Will Keep Posting Reminders/Alerts Regarding Immunisation Till Age Of 16 Years

The mobile phone application regarding immunisation of child till the age of 16 years has been launched by Deputy CM Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal during his recent visit to the city. This mobile application is the first of its kind in the country which is in three languages- Hindi, Punjabi and English. Through this App, the subscriber would be sent three messages each as well as information. It has been developed by Mr Preet Chandok from Zero One Synergy Company and his team under their CSR activity.On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner briefed the Deputy CM that any person can download this app free of cost from Google Play Store by typing "date2vaccinate". 

Once downloaded, there is no need of internet to use it. He informed that right now, this app is available only on google play store and soon, it would be made available for IOS (apple phones) system also. Once the date of birth is filled, all details would be automatically loaded till the age of 16 years of child and three reminders each would be set.It would be connected with the GPS and through searching the location, people would get details such as nearest PHC, CHC, etc and would also provide nearest route. If the subscriber fails to get immunised, it would again send reminders.The Deputy CM appreciated the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat and announced to launch it throughout the state soon. The district administration has already launched SMS based such service named M-Sehat.
