Chairman J&K Bank briefs Governor

Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan, here today and apprised the Governor about Bank’s financial results for the 3rd Quarter.The Governor complimented Chairman Mushtaq Ahmad over the significant enhancements achieved in several areas of functioning during the 3rd Quarter, particularly in regard to the reduction in the percentage of NPAs. The Governor discussed with Chairman the need for the Bank to provide targeted support to identified segments of the State’s economy and stressed the Bank’s responsibility to play a larger role in speeding up the growth and development of the State.
