DDC Baramulla reviews Aadhaar registration, NFSA

District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal, Friday chaired an officers meeting at Dak Bungalow Baramulla regarding Aadhaar registration and National Food Security Act in the district.The meeting took a comprehensive review of the Aadhaar registration process taken up by the district administration. The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure speedy registration of people across the district.Meanwhile, the DDC reviewed the arrangements regarding NSFA implementation in the district. Assistant Director, CA&PD, informed the meeting about the progress made by the department in this regard.The DDC stressed upon the concerned officials that they should ensure that discrepancies and duplications are checked, and fair and transparent lists are prepared.Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, District Informatics Officer, Baramulla, Tehsildars and other concerned Officers were present during the meeting.
