‘Fringe elements’ don’t want to see education sector on track: GLTF

General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) Monday alleged that Kashmir Teachers Forum have been spewing venom against Education Department by making unnecessary comments. GLTF in a statement to CNS said that such comments show the frustration and desperation of ‘so called’ trade union leaders.“The teachers who participated in recently march organized by GLTF keenly support the reformation process initiated by the authorities for the betterment of education sector,” GLTF spokesperson said.He alleged that some fringe elements don’t want to see education sector on track. “Our rally was not a cosmetic show but it marked the beginning of a new era in the education sector,” he said and made it clear that unlike Union leaders’ they are not patronized by any department or bureaucracy.
