Senior SAD leader and N.R.I sports promoter Karan Ghuman Dirba assumed the office of NRI Commission as a member. He assumed the office in presence of senior leader and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, MP Rajya Sabha. On this occasion, Justice Retd. Rakesh Kumar Garg Chairman NRI Commission specially present. Sukhdev Dhindsa said," Karan Ghuman has been linked to Punjabi NRI's across the world through sports that's why he is known to problems faced by them". He further said," by seeing achievements of Karan Ghuman, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Dy. CM Sukhbir SIngh Badal finds him suitable for the post and I hope that Karan will perform excellent and serve NRI's through commission". Karan Ghuman said," I will always on front foot to solve the problems faced by NRI's.
