DDC reviews status of developmental works

District Development Commissioner Poonch, Mohammad Harun Malik today  convened a meeting to  review the progress of various ongoing developmental works in the district .While taking a detailed review of works under MGNREGA, IAY, NABARD, 13th FC, SBM Mr. Harun asked the ACD to ensure completion of Shahpur Panchayat Ghar by 31st of March besides expeditious completion of other Panchayat Ghars being constructed under NABARD and 13th FC.DDC also reviewed the status of ongoing works under Health sector and directed the concerned officers to ensure timely   completion of these works. DDC also directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mendhar and Surankote to regularly inspect works under MGNREGA and IAY and submit a detailed report.DDC stressed on creation of durable assets in rural areas under MGNREGA and regular monitoring of works while adhering to the fixed timelines.
