Zaffer thanks Pakistan for supporting Kashmir struggle

Senior resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement chairman, Zaffar Akbar Bhat on the eve of ‘Kashmir solidarity Day’ thanked the Government and People of Pakistan for their continued moral, political and diplomatic support to the freedom struggle of Kashmiris.Addressing a gathering after Friday prayers in Karemabad, Pulwama Zaffer Akbar Bhat lauded the efforts of Pakistani government and people rendered in internationalizing the Kashmir conflict and thanked military leadership, Kashmir committee, Political Parties, religious groups, students and trade unions in particular for observing the day-Kashmir solidarity Day- with determination and commitment.He also thanked Pakistanis and Kashmiris living in rest of the world particularly in Saudi Arabia, America, and Canada and hailed the efforts of Kashmiris leaders residing in other countries for organizing marches today.Zaffer said that by observing the day oppressed Kashmiris not only gets encouraged but the Kashmir conflict gets highlighted on international level which forces international community to think over the issue and its peaceful resolution.

Terming Pakistanis and Kashmiris living abroad diplomats of Kashmir freedom struggle, Zaffer urged them to intensify their activities for fruitful results viz-a-viz peaceful resolution of Kashmir conflict.He said that it is very unfortunate that Kashmir conflict is lingering since from last over six decades despite knowing the fact that without its resolution peace can’t be guaranteed in South Asia.He said that contribution and sacrifices of those Pakistanis and Kashmiris can’t be forgotten who are working day and night for the ongoing freedom struggle and for ending India’s illegal occupation.Bhat expressed satisfaction over the fact that despite hardships people around globe are actively contributing and helping oppressed Kashmiris. He said that this day also establishes the fact that Kashmiris love peace and strive for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir conflict. He hoped that Pakistan will continue to render political, moral and diplomatic support to the ongoing freedom struggle.

Zaffar led a rally from chowk to martyrs graveyard and people pitch high through slogans in favour of Islam and freedom.Zaffer Akbar Bhat also paid glowing tributes to martyrs of Hajin Sumbal and kareamabad Pulwama. Bhat expressed sympathy with the families of martyrs and pledged to take the mission of martyr’s mission to its logical conclusion besides safeguarding the precious sacrifices of martyrs.Hundreds of people participated in the rally and raised pro-freedom and Pro-Islam slogans. He was accompanied by senior party leaders including Mehraj-u-din, Aijaz Beg, Naseer Ahmad, Sikander Ahmad, Abdul Majeed and others. (KNS)
