The aspirants who have given written test in July 2014 for the posts advertised by Fire and Emergency services protested here against the department for failing to declare the final list of selected candidates.The aspirants assembled at press enclave and were holding banners displaying ‘Waiting for results from past 3 years’. The protesters were also chanting slogans and were demanding declaring of results at earliest.Talking to KNS, the protesters said that the department advertised the posts in November 2013 for which the written test was taken in July 2014. “The authorities from last three year are yet to declare the final list of candidates who are seeking jobs in Fire and Emergnecy Services,” theys aid.They said that due to the delay in announcing the final list of candidates, they are facing tremendous hardships.

They said that after written test, the fitness test was also conducted by the authorities but unnecessary delay has been occurred in making the results public.They informed that posts advertised by the department were for ‘fireman’ and ‘junior assistant’.Protesters later appealed higher ups of the department to release the final list of candidates at earliest.
