Taj Mohi-ud-Din smells rat in Vigilance probe against him

‘Where the officials were till 14 long years’

Senior congress leader and former minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din Wednesday said that Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) that has filed case of land grabbing against him should investigate the matter seriously.While talking to KNS, Taj said that VOK is claiming that the ownership of the land is controversial. “Almost 14 years has been passed from the date of owning the land. Where were the officials if it was fraudulently owned by me,” Taj said.He said that the land is not having any controversial ownership, adding, “I appeal the VOK to investigate the matter seriously so that the clear details would come out at earliest,” he said.“Despite having not controversial ownerships, I don’t know why VOK has filed the case against me. Who is claiming that the land has been owned fraudulently? I believe that something is fishy in it,” he said.Pertinently, Vigilance Organisation Kashmir on Wednesday lodged a case against senior congress leader and former minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din in a land grabbing case in Kulgam area of south Kashmir.

“A Case FIR No. 06/2016 under section 5(1)(d) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C. Act sections 468, 471 and 120-B RPC in Police Station Vigilance Organization Kashmir was registered against Atiqullah Shah S/o Sonuallah Shah R/o Chimar Noorabad Kulgam and other officers/officials of Revenue Department and the beneficiary Taj Mohi-ud-Din S/o Khuda Baksh R/o Batamaloo Srinagar,” Vigilance in a statement said.
