Problems being face by general public of District SAS Nagar will be treated as top priority and SAS Nagar which is the main entrance for the State will be developed as a modern district. As such, all efforts will be done for the same. This was stated by Daljeet Singh Mangat IAS while conducting a meeting with various department officials after taking over the charge as a Deputy Commissioner District SAS Nagar. Before this Deputy Commissioner Sh. Mangat received guard of honour by Police and other officials welcomed him with bouquets. Earlier Managat was holding the charge of Deputy Commissioner District Kapurthala. During this Sh. Mangat directed the officials to work as a team and directed to solve the problems of general public being faced while interacting with Govt. departments. During this he also directed to generate awareness at grass route level regarding welfare schemes being initiated and operated by State govt. so that maximum people could get benefit of the same. During this he was also informed about the smart cards being provided under Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Scheme. Sh. Mangat said that timely completion of development works should also be ensured in the district. During this Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Sh. Bhupinder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Smt. Poonamdeep Kaur, Assistant Commissioner (General) Smt. Avneet Kaur, SDM Mohali Sr. Lakhmeer Singh, SDM Dera Bassi Sh. shiv Kumar, SDM Kharar Smt. Amninder Kaur Brar, District Transport Officer Sr. KAran Singh, Civil Surgeon Neelam Bhardwaj, District Social security officer Smt. Amrit Bala, Tehsildar Mohali Sh. Ravinder Bansal, Tehsil Kharar Sh. Pardeep Bains, Tehsildar (Election) Smt. NAresh Kiran, Naib Tehsildar Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, Naib Tehsildar Arjan Singh Grewal and other officials were present.
