Daughter Gets Job After Punjab SC Commission Intervenes

The Punjab SC Commission has intervened and helped a Daughter to get a job on compassionate grounds after the death of her Father.Disclosing this here today, the Chairman of the Commission Mr. Rajesh Bagha said that Harpreet Kaur D/O Late Aatma Singh, Conductor, had lodged a complaint about not getting a job on compassionate grounds after the death of her Father after which the commission had sought a report regarding the matter from the Director State Transport, Punjab, Chandigarh. Thereafter with the intervention of the commission, Harpreet Kaur had been issued appointment letter as Clerk (Class-III) from Director State Transport, Punjab, Chandigarh.Mr. Bagha also said that the Punjab SC Commission was fully committed to resolve the pertaining to the members of scheduled caste category in accordance with the law and service rules.
