Delegation from Tujar Sharief calls on Div Com

A delegation of Tujar Sharief, Sopore Saturday called on Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon here today and apprised him about the problems confronted by the residents of the area.The delegation was led by Sajada Nasheen of the Makhdoom Sahib Shrine, Peerzada Shahid Jeelani Mekhdoomi who put forth various issues before the Div Com which included regular supply of water and electricity etc in Model village Tujar.The delegation demanded start of work on Power Receiving Station which has been sanctioned by the government several years ago so that supply of electricity in the area is improved. The demand for improving medical facilities in local hospital was also raised.Responding to the demands, the Divisional Commissioner assured the delegation that their all issues and genuine demands will be examined on priority for appropriate action.
