Let’s unite and cooperate with one another for the welfare of all. Devotees have always done this because they realize the presence of God all the time everywhere. Trusting God, they overcome the ups and downs, pain and pleasures of life.This was observed here late last evening by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission while addressing a special congregation to celebrate the New Year Day as also the 83rdbirthday of his holy mother, Nirankari RajmataKulwant Kaur Ji. Thousands of devotees of the Mission from Delhi and its adjoining areas participated despite cold weather.Baba Ji said that devotees do not want to see the mankind fragmented.While worldly people use their physical, mental and material possessions to exploit and oppress others, snatch their rights for their selfishness, ego and narrow-mindedness, devotees utilize all their achievements for the welfare of all. Since they trust God, they lead a contented life, leaving everything past, present and future to the will of the Almighty.

Baba Ji said that no doubt the year 2013 was not pleasant for all, we saw the devastation caused by floods in Uttarakhand, but devotees did not allow their faith in God to be shaken. Their motto is: I don’t know what future holds for me but I do know who holds the future for me.

For New Year – 2014, Baba Ji said let’s not carry forward the negative tendencies of hatred, jealousy, ego, selfishness and intolerance etc., but concentrate only on the positive feelings of love, compassion, peace and cooperation.Referring to Nirankari RajmataJi’s birthday, Baba Ji said that while the birth of Baba Avtar Singh Ji on December 31 symbolizes the end of the darkness of ignorance, the birthof Rajmata Ji on January 1 signifies the dawn of devotion.Earlier, Rev. Nirankari Rajmata Ji cut the cake to celebrate her birthday while His Holiness also joined the ceremony.This added a new enthusiasm among devotees. Several singers and poets praised her for the inspiration she has been providing to devotees and strengthening their faith in Satguru.Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Nirankari Rajmata Ji said that the most auspicious moments of a devotee’s life are those which are spent at the holy feet of Satguru. She wished that they continue to enjoy such blissful occasions in future also.

New Year Message

In his New Year Message webcast over the Mission’s website www.nirankari.org at the dawn of 2014, His Holiness said, “May God bless every human being with wisdom so that they live harmoniously, loving and caring for each other,since hatred and violence have already taken their toll. May everyone think in the terms of betterment of the entire mankind and not a particular class of society or region”. He exhorted the followers of the Mission to go on serving humanity selflessly, promoting the spirit of devotion so that there is peace and harmony in this strife torn world.
