Mohali, Gidderbaha And Fazilka Would Get New Judicial Complexes: Sharanjit Dhillon

The Punjab Government has approved three new Judicial Complexes for Mohali, Gidderbaha and Fazilka with a total cost of Rs. 150 crore.Disclosing this here today, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, PWD Minister, Punjab said that the construction of these new judicial complexes would start from December this year. He said that it was the long pending demand of these cities, which would be fulfilled now as the constructions of these complexes would be completed by the end of next year. He said that already under construction 5 administrative complexes worth Rs. 270 crore at Tarn Taran, Barnala, Ferozepur, Kapurthala and Ajitgarh would also become operational after March 2013. Dhillon said that SAD-BJP Government was committed to upgrade the standards of existing administrative, judicial complexes and public buildings. He said that under this campaign the state would also witness 10 state-of-the-art Tehsil Complexes at Kharar, Tapa, Chamkaur Sahib, Dhuri, Bholath, Jagraon, Dera Baba Nanak, Moonak, Patran and Budhlada, which were on the edge of completion.The Minister said that the construction of 15 Universities and Colleges have been completed by the SAD-BJP Government to provide world class study environment with a combine cost of Rs. 180 crore. He said that Rs. 33 crore would be spent on the construction of 11 Tehsil complexes while the under construction judicial complexes at Kapurthala, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Barnala, Sardulgarh, Tarn Taran, Zira, Malout and Batala near completion with a total cost Rs. 280 crore, which would become operation by the end of next year. He said that to tackle the menace of traffic, a special program for creation of Ring Roads in the state was also under consideration of state government.
