Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon Wednesday met various delegations and gave on-spot directions for redressal of their grievances.Delegations put forth various issues including post flood rehabilitation, flood protection, restoration of river Jhelum, strengthening of bunds on rivers and streams besides issues related to scarcity of drinking water and supply of electricityOn the occasion, Divisional Commissioner assured the delegations that all their genuine demands shall be considered on priority.He asked officers to be empathetic while dealing with public and address their grievances within minimum possible time. He asked the PDD and PHE departments to ensure adequate supply of power and water to people.
