BJP and MRM hoisted tricolor in Srinagar and Handwara

Bhartiya Janata Party and one of its organ Tuesday said that it organized flag hoisting ceremonies in Summer Capital and in North Kashmir’s Handwara town. BJP media in charge Altaf Thakur in a statement to CNS said that party activists hoisted Indian tri-color at their party office in Jawahar Nagar. Similar statement was issued by Muslim Rashtriya Manch general secretary Sheikh Zakir Hussain who claimed that Manch members celebrate Republic Day function in Handwara and the tri-colour was unfurled followed by sweets distribution ceremony. He said that MRM state president Mir Nazir also hoisted Indian tri-color at their Kursoo Rajbagh office. (CNS)
