Tractor, tipper seized for illegal quarrying

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, a team comprising of Tehsildar Udhampur Sapna Kotwal, Naib Tehsildar and SHO Udhampur, seized Tipper and Tractor, which were doing illegal quarrying from Nullah near Birma bridge Udhampur.Tehsildar Udhampur directed all the revenue staff of the to be vigilant and closely monitor the illegal and unlawful excavation/extraction activities carried out in the Udhampur.She also added that strict action would be initiated against the defaulters for the violation.
