Smelling Its Complete Decimation, Congress Looting The Country With Both Hands- Harsimrat Badal

Harsimrat Kaur Badal, local Member Parliament today slammed the Congress led UPA government for unprecedented inflation in the country and said that smelling its complete political decimation in 2014 Parliament elections, the Congress Party and its allies were looting the country with both hands.Talking to the media persons after laying foundation stone of Reverse Osmosis (RO) at Sanjay Nagar here, Badal said that instead of adopting measures to curb the inflation and corruption in the country, the Congress led UPA government was looting the assets of country like East India Company ignoring the interests of common masses. Answering a query, Badal said that the ruling Union Government led by Congress has created several records of multi-crore scandals followed one by one including 2G, Commonwealth Games Scam, Aadarsh Scam while the latest Coalgate has become talk of the country. She said that Congress Party has come to know that there was no revival of UPA in 2014 and the coalition has 'in principle' decided to loot the coffers and assets of the country. 

On being asked about the upcoming political scenario of the country, Badal said that the general public already reeling under the unprecedented burden of taxes, inflation and deceptive policies of UPA government would brush aside the Congress and its allies in Parliament elections. Answering another query regarding ongoing talks between Captain Amarinder Singh and PPP Chief Manpreet Singh Badal, Badal said that they had come to know before elections that Congress was plotting Manpreet against SAD-BJP alliance while the wise people of Punjab has rejected duo. She said that the electorates were eagerly waiting the Parliament polls to repeat the same mandate. 

Meanwhile, Badal announced Rs. 4 lakh grant to construct a Community Hall in Sanjay Nagar besides setting-up of a sewing center under Nanhi Chaan (a campaign against social evils). Prominent amongst those were present on the occasion included Chief Parliamentary Secretary  Sarup Chand Singla, Mayor  Baljit Singh Beer Behman, Deputy Commissioner  Kamal Kishore Yadav, SSP  S.S. Gill and Commissioner Municipal Corporation  Uma Shankar.
