Three Day Specialized E-governance Training Programme Organsied

Punjab Governance Reforms department conducted a Three Day Specialized eGovernance Training Programme (STeP) on ‘eGovernance Project life Cycle’ (S2-eGLC) to equip officers with skills and knowledge on eGovernance Project life Cycle for State level e-Governance initiatives and e- Governance projects being implemented in the state.Mrs. Kavita Singh, IAS, Special Secretary Cum Director Governance Reforms, Government of Punjab addressing the participants on the concluding day of the workshop laid focus on importance of eGovernance Project life Cycle in various e-Governance projects. Mrs. Kavita Singh during her valedictory address said that this training was organized in coordination with National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), Hyderabad to build State Capacity Building as per guidelines of Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India.  

She said that during the 3 days programme on eGovernance Project life Cycle, participants were provided knowledge on Introduction to e-Governance & National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), e-Governance Project Development Lifecycle, Services Identification and Prioritization, Government Process Reengineering, Understanding e-Governance Applications, Data Digitization apart from other topics. She also thanked all the experts for enriching the participants with valuable knowledge at this occasion. In the end Mrs. Kavita Singh distributed participation certificates to distinguished officers / officials of various District Offices of State of Punjab.The specialized Training Programme on e-Governance Project life Cycle was conducted by Sh. Piyush Gupta AVP ,Sh. B.G. Gupta & Prof. Jagdish C. Kapur from NISG. Distinguished officers also performed in various activities on eGovernance Project Life Cycle. Mr. Manpreet Singh and Mr. Sahil Abrol from Punjab SeMT (DGR) gave Presentation on Progress of eGovernance Projects in the state. The training was attended by senior officers/ Officials from various District Offices of State of Punjab.
