Awareness camp organized by Horticulture department at Garnai

An awareness camp on farmers field school under the scheme ATMA was organized by the department of Horticulture at village Garnai, Tikri here today.The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Horticulture Officer Udhampur C.L Sharma. CHO informed the participants about various centrally sponsored schemes and stressed upon them to avail maximum benefits of these schemes.The Participants were made aware regarding different components of Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Area Expansion, IPM/INM, Organic farming, Rejuvenation etc and value addition of fruit and vegetables.Among others Subject Matter Specialist  Salil Kumar Gupta, S Satvir Singh and Horticulture Development Officer Tikri besides the sarpanchas and panchs  attended the Camp.
