R-Day arrangements finalized in Kishtwar

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Kishori Lal convened a meeting to discuss and finalize the arrangements for Republic Day celebrations.The meeting was informed that the main function will be held in  Chowgan Ground Kishtwar where  the chief guest will unfurl the national flag and  take salute at the march past  contingents  of J&K Police, IRP, CRPF, NCC and students of various Govt/Private Schools.ADC Kishtwar stressed upon all the concerned officers to put in concerted efforts and ensure that the necessary arrangements are put in place in time for the smooth and successful celebration of the national festival. Threadbare discussion was held regarding barricading, water supply, uninterrupted power supply, illumination of the venue, security besides various other related issues were also discussed during the meeting.
