Rural Media workshop ‘VARTALAP’ held at Pulwama

A day long workshop ’VARTALAP’ on Rural media persons of Pulwama and Shopian Districts jointly organized by the Press Information Bureau and Union Ministry Of Information and Broadcasting was held here today.District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, Niraj Kumar inaugurated the workshop.Deputy Director Doordarshan Mr. Shafiq Ahmad, Assistant Director M&C , District Information Officer Pulwama/ Shopian, experts of journalism and mass communication besides large number of media persons from twin districts were present on the occasion.The experts threw light upon various principles of journalism and said media has pivotal role in present day context and to highlight issues of public concern.
