DC flags off Pulse Polio rally at Kishtwar

Deputy Commissioner,  G. N Balwan, today flagged off the pulse polio rally here  from Chowgan ground Kishtwar.The rally, which was aimed at to create awareness about the pulse polio programme to be launched across the district on January 17, 2016, witnessed enthusiastic participation of students and staff of medical department. The participants carried placards , banners and raised slogans highlighting the importance of Pulse polio programme. “Special teams will be deployed at   bus stands to cover children in transit and other busy points  besides  the house-to-house inspection would be carried out effectively as missing out of single child would make the programme ineffective” said CMO kishtwar.
