R-Day arrangements discussed at Basohli

In order to discuss and finalize arrangements for Republic Day celebrations, Tehsildar Basohli Samrinder Singh convened a meeting of tehsil level officers here at Basohli today.During the meeting, the arrangements for security, drinking water, power supply, sanitation, barricading, Medicare were discussed. He exhorted upon the officers to make befitting arrangements to make the national event a grand success, so that the day celebrated with traditional gaiety and fervor.The contingents drawn from government as well as private educational institutions will participate in the march past. To present Cultural items based on the patriotic theme SDM also  constituted a committee during the meeting.He assigned duties to the different departments for the celebrations of Republic day. He directed the officers to work in close coordination for successful conduct of the celebrations.Tehsil level officers, Principals of various educational institutions attended the meeting.
