Tributes paid to Praja Parishad veteran leader

To expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and condole the sad demise of Praja Parishad Veteran leader Janak Singh Manhas, Jammu District BJP under its president Rajesh Gupta organized a condolence meeting at party headquarters on Saturday. BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma and other leaders laid their wreath at the portrait of Manhas and paid rich tributes.Jugal Kishore Sharma, while remembering the struggle full life of Janak Singh Manhas, said that this great son of duggar soil worked throughout his life for the cause of the nation and bringing together the nationalist people to defeat the evil designs of all such forces which posed threat to the unity and integrity of the country. He said that it was not only Janak Singh Manhas but his whole family had commitment towards Praja Parishad and later Bharatiya Janata Party.Sharma said that the present situation in the state needs leaders like Janak Singh Manhas and we all should take pledge on this day to follow the path shown by him and involve all nationalist people in crusade against the elements who are working to weaken state’s relation with the Union of India.

Amarnath Gupta, one of the close colleague of Janak Singh Manhas, recalled his long association with him during various agitations and narrated a number of incidents which themselves proved that the people of Jammu had very high regards for the Praja Parishad leaders.

Ghulam Ali Khatana, Chander Mohan Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Ravinder Raina, Sunil Dogra, Jaideep Sharma, Sanjay Baru, Vinay Gupta, Vikram Randhawa, Surinder Mahajan, Kuldeep Kandhari, Ram Parshad, Surinder Pargal, Sat Pal Choudhary, Tarseem Choudhary, Subash Gupta, Narotam Sharma, Gurcharan Singh, Jeet Angral and others also paid their tributes.
