The people of Daboh Panchayat today held a strong demonstration under the leadership of young PDP leader Sunny Sangral to express anguish against the Tube-well Scam. The people raised slogans against the PHE Minister Sham Lal Sharma, Local MLA Yash Pal Kundal and officials of PHE department.They alleged that the Tube-well constructed in Dadui at the cost of Rs two crore was dysfunctional causing hardships to the locals. People said that work on said project started in 2007 and completed in 2011. Even the supply lines have been laid throughout the Panchayat, but of no use as ground water table beneath Tube-well is quite low.They informed that a written complaint in this regard was submitted to the PHE Minister in the month of August. Later, the Minister on September 13 had marked the said letter to the Chief Engineer. Till now, no action has been taken on the complaint leaving the poor villagers high and dry.Sunny Sangral alleged that MLA Samba deliberately pushed the project despite knowing the fact that it would fail to deliver. He further alleged that project was assigned to the blue eyed contractors of Kundal. Their only intention was to misappropriate the public money.  He demanded that thorough probe be ordered into the scam to trace the culprits and put them behind bars. He also sought clarification from the local MLA and PHE Minister for this scam. Also, he threatened to launch mass agitation if no action is taken in this matter.
