20 kg ganja seized near Bangladesh border

The BSF on Saturday seized 20 kg of ganja from near the Bangladesh border in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district, an officer said.The seizure was made near a border outpost in Bangaon area."A BSF patrol team challenged some people carrying plastics towards the Bangladesh side. While they managed to escape, we seized 20 kg of ganja that was being smuggled by them," said a Border Security Force officer.The BSF so far in the year has seized 37 kg of ganja from across the South Bengal frontier.
