ADC reviews Republic Day arrangements at Baramulla

In order to ensure smooth celebrations of Republic Day on January 26, Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Khan today convened a meeting of officials at Dak Bungalow and reviewed the arrangements being put in place in the district.During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held and all arrangements including security, transport, sanitation, power supply, Medicare, Seating arrangements, etc were reviewed.The ADC directed the officials to ensure better security arrangements, proper seating arrangements, and uninterrupted supply of power. The CMO was directed to keep one Ambulance during the event. Meanwhile, the concerned Executive Engineer was directed to keep Snow-Cutter machines ready to clear the roads.

During the meeting, various Committees were constituted to monitor and look after the preparations for Republic day Celebration in the district. It was given out that the rehearsal for March past and cultural programmes will begin from 15th January. It was also informed that teams of students belonging to various educational institutions will participate in the March Past and Cultural programmes.The ADC called for cooperation and coordination among different departments to ensure preparation for the Republic day celebration at the District Headquarter.Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, District and Sectoral Officers attended the meeting.
