Free treatment-cum-awareness camp held at Balakote

A team of veterinarians conducted a day-long free treatment-cum-awareness camp in forward areas of Balakote in Mendhar Sub-Division.Nearly, 200 farmers with their animals from various villages attended the camp.  The team of expert doctors provided necessary services to the ailing animals on the spot.Dr. Sayeed Qaiser and Dr. Ashiq Lone also imparted dairy farming and poultry farming training to the farmers besides awareness regarding green fodder cultivation.The Chief Animal Husbandry Officer has instructed the field functionaries for regular visits to the forward areas of the Sub-Division for providing veterinary services to the livestock.
