Naeem, Kohli review implementation of development Plan in Kalakote Constituency

Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar  today held a review  meeting  of all the district  officers  to discuss  developmental  works  being carried out in all the sectors  in Kalakote constituency. Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani Kohli was also present in the review meeting.Threadbare discussion was held on the physical and financial achievement registered under the approved plan of action for development in Kalakote constituency.The Minister expressed  dismay over the inadequate  utilization  of funds and directed  officers  to expeditiously  use the allocated  money to get the desired  results  on the ground besides asking them to ensure timely  submission  of the utilization  certificates so as to defer the unnecessary  delay in release of funds. "The concerned district officer of the department should ensure timely submission of the utilization certificate to ensure regular flow of funds," he said.Regarding  the issue of land for the construction  of degree college  at Kalakote, the Minister directed the DC to submit the  report regarding the feasibility  of the 26 kanal state  land available  in the constituency  for the construction of the same.

Underlining the need for finishing the undergoing development works well in time, to translate the vision of government of accessible, affordable and equitable progress for all, the Minister directed R&B to put on priority the works that are in their final stage of execution,   so that people of the area receive the intended benefits of development projects at the earliest. The Minister underscored the need for laying focused attention on improvement of road connectivity, drinking water, power supply, education and health care facilities equally across the district.  He impressed upon the officers to perform their duties with dedication so that the aspirations of people of the district are met.Earlier, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Bhat gave a power point presentation regarding sector wise expenditure being incurred by different departments. Among others,  ,ADDC ,  Avtar Singh Chib, SC R&B , Majeed Wani, ACD , Noor Alam,  CPO, Hameed Choudhary  ,  CMO , Chamin Bhasin ,  Shezad Khan, and other senior  district and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
