Dr. Harinderpal Bali today assumed charge as Director, Health and family Welfare. Dr. Bali is an E.N.T. specialist. On assuming charge, Dr. Bali instructed the staff not to keep any matter pending and work with extreme dedication to provide quality health services to the people.Disclosing this, an official spokesman said that Dr. Usha Bansal also assumed charge as Director, Health Services (Family Welfare). Dr. Usha Bansal is a Gynaecologist and joined Punjab Civil Medical Services in 1980.The spokesman said that after taking charge, Dr. Bansal issued directions to all the Civil Surgeons to  strictly comply with the P.C. & P.N.DT. Act and ensure that all the programmes of the department are implemented at grass root level with specialised focus on rural areas.
