District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal today inspected Industrial Training Institute Sopore and took serious note of encroachment on ITI Land.The DDC issued strict directions to the concerned for permanent fencing of ITI land at the earliest. He added “strict legal action will be taken against encroachers of the said land”.Meanwhile during a visit to Sopore Fruit Mandi, the DDC interacted with representatives of Trade Associations who presented their issues before the DDC. Various issues including drinking water facilities, sub-standard pesticides, extension of fruit mandi and construction of new shops at fruit mandi were also highlighted on the occasion.Earlier, the District Development Commissioner also inspected Industrial Land at Amargarh, Sopore. Directions were issued for shifting of CRPF mechanical division from the land and it was decided that industrial units will be established and made functional.The District Development Commissioner visited various places in Sopore. She was accompanied by Joint Director Planning, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sopore and other officers during the visit.
