JK Republic Day contingent flagged off to Delhi

Jammu and Kashmir State Republic Day (JKSRD) contingent comprising of 102 NCC Cadets representing all the three regions of Jammu and Kashmir was flagged off from NCC Academy Nagrota to Delhi by Lt Gen RR Nimbhorkar, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC 16 Corps.Cadet Sachin Chaudhary will be leading the Boys Contingent and Cadet Jasmina Chib will be leading the Girls Contingent.10 cadets from the J and K NCC who have been selected after stringent tests will be competing for award of Best Cadets at National Level.  In the Senior category are Cadet Sachin Choudhary, Cadet Jagdev Singh, Cadet GarimaCharak, Cadet Shivani Bhagat, Cadet Arti Devi and Cadet Ravit Kumar have been selected. In the Junior category Cadet Rehajeet Kour, Cadte Adeeb-Ul-Islam, Cadet Akash Thakur and Cadet Tabish Bin Mushtaq have been selected. In addition 08 cadets will also compete for  selection for the Youth Exchange Programme.
