Deputation of LAHDC Leh calls on Abdul Gani Kohli

A deputation led by Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC, Leh, Dr. Sonam Dawa on Tuesday called on Minister for Transport Abdul Gani Kohli here.Other members of the deputation included Tsering Wangdus Executive Councillor (EC) Agriculture and Rural Development, Tsering Sangdup EC Tourism, Dorjey Motup, EC Works, Mumtaz Hussain, EC Animal Husbandry besides senior BJP Leader Nazir Ahmad.The deputation discussed various matters of public interest with the Ministerand apprised him about some of the issues confronting the people of Leh district during winter and sought his intervention to address these.The Minister heard the deputation patiently and assured that issues highlighted would be taken up at the appropriate forum for redress.The Minister said that focussed attention is being given to inclusive development in all the regions of the state with thrust on providing basic facilities to the people at their door steps and improving the socio-economic profile of the weaker sections of the society.
