The Minister for R&B, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari had a meeting with the Chairman J&K Legislative Council Haji Inayat Ali here in Council Secretariat and discussed the status of road projects coming up in Kargil district under NABARD, CRF and State sector.Commissioner Secretary R&B, Director Planning(R&B) Executive Engineer R&B Kargil besides other senior officers from R&B department were present in the meeting.Demanding setting  up of a full-fledged R&B Circle in the district, the Chairman said that it will give impetus to the projects being undertaken by the R&B department in the region. He also demanded for introduction of Evotherm technology in the region in view of the cold weather conditions, which has recently been introduced for the roads projects in Kashmir valley on experimental basis. 

He said the application of Evotherm will strengthen the road network  in  district Kargil.Later, the R&B Minister held similar meetings with the Minister for Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Sajjad Gani Lone and Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Moulvi  Imran Raza Ansari and discussed the progress of R&B projects of  Handwara and Pattan constituencies. Both the Minister took up the issues of   development and construction of certain new roads under NABARD and CRF in their constituencies during coming financial year. Syed Altaf assured the ministers that every possibility will be explored for taking up the road projects.
