Ultra modern judicial court complex worth Rs. 86 crore constructed at Sector 76 SAS Nagar is first of its own kind in Punjab and has been presented to the public as a New Year gift after formal inauguration by Chairman Building Committee Punjab Hon'ble Justice Punjab & Haryana High Court Mr. T.P.S.Mann. During this while addressing the press Justice Mann said that recruitment for district & session judges will be conducted soon. During this Hon'ble Justice Mahesh Grover Judge Punjab & Haryana High court & Administration Session Judge Division Roopnagar and other judges from Punjab & Haryana High court & other officials were present.He said that this modern judicial complex is spread over 7 acres area.
This court complex will fulfill the long term demand of public & advocates. He said that official functioning of this court complex will get started from 2 January 2016. He said that the court complex building has been equipped with modern facilities which are of its own kind. He said that besides basement there are five floors of this building and there are 24 court rooms in the court complex. During the first phase of functioning 14 court rooms will be made operational. However, there is a provision for constructing another 3 stories in this building. As such 15 additional court rooms could be established. He said that Court complex has been divided in to 3 zones consisting of Judicial Complex, ADR Center and advocates chambers. He said that after functioning of court complex, the other judiciaries working at community center Mohali Phase 3B1 will get shifted at here. He said that to facilitate the public provision of canteen, parking and sitting arrangements will also be ensured at here.
He said that at ground floor there will be court room of district & session judge, office of Superintendent, Meeting room, Computer Networking and services room, CCTV room, Lockup male and female rooms. Whereas at first floor court rooms for additional District session judge, Additional Civil Judge Senior Division, ADA Room, Conference hall will be there. Meanwhile at second floor, Civil judge Junior Division, Library, ADA Room has been provided and at third floor Civil Judge Junior Division and at forth floor District Legal services authority court room and another two court rooms has been provided. Hon'ble justice Mann said that there is a provision of video conferencing and all court rooms are equipped with Air Conditioners and CCTV cameras.

Tannu Kashyap, SSP Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, District and Session Judge Amarjot Bhatti, Additional District Session Judge Parvinder Pal singh, CGM Tarn Taran Singh Bindra, Mr. Tarsem Mangla, Secretary Legal Services Authority Puneet Mohan Sharma, SDM Mr. Lakhmeer Singh, Judge Senior Division Mr. Asheel Saaldi, Junior Magistrate Class I Bismal Mann, Immanbir Singh Dhaliwal, Miss Parul & other judicial officials and police officials were present
