A threadbare review of developmental works carried out under various flagship schemes of Rural Development Department was today reviewed in a meeting held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat.The meeting was attended by, ACD, CPO, all the concerned district officers and BDOs of all the blocks of the district.The District Development Commissioner was told that under MGNREGA during the current financial year, 1914 works have been taken up for execution costing Rs 27.43 Cores ending Nov-2015. During the period, 2.20 lakh man days have been generated.Under IAY, the meeting was told that against the target of 336 new IAY houses and 415 SOS houses, 358 have been completed and 373 IAY houses are in the process of execution at present. District Development Commissioner also reviewed the SAGY and convergence programmes in detail.
