DDC inspects ongoing flood restoration works

District Development Commissioner, Samba Sheetal Nanda today reviewed the ongoing flood restoration works being executed by PHE and Flood Control department at Kamore forward in Ramgarh.The DDC was accompanied by Chief Engineer PHE and Irrigation Rajeev Gandotra, Executive Engineer Jagdish Raj and Tehsildar, Ramgarh Jai Kumar Sharma.While interacting with the people, DDC said that after completion of restoration works of nallahs at Barota, Lagwal, Kamore, Kamore Camp, Rangoor and Rangoor camp, the people of these areas would get relief from flash floods in rainy season.DDC asked the concerned officers to complete the ongoing restoration works within stipulated time frame by maintaining quality of material.
