DDC inaugurates teacher training programme at Ramban

District Development Commissioner, Ramban Bashir Ahmed Dar today inaugurated teacher training programme, organised by District Institute of Education and Training, Banihal under Elementary Teacher Training Centrally Sponsored Scheme at Government Girls High School, Ramban.As many as 60 teachers participated in the first batch of ETT programme.According to Principal DIET, Banihal, Sham Lal 360 teachers drawn from different zones of the district shall be imparted training in different batches under the said training programme. He further disclosed that all faculty members have been instructed to use latest techniques of education besides dynamic methodologies based on stage wise curriculum.Speaking on the occasion, DDC exhorted upon the teacher community to adopt innovative and scientific teaching techniques and asked them to help develop interest among students through locally made Teaching Learning Materials. He also assured trainees that he would personally monitor the programme.
