Massive developmental prog underway to upgrade basic amenities: Lal Singh

Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings Choudhary Lal Singh has said that massive developmental works are underway under the master plan to provide better amenities to the people .This was stated by the Minister while interacting with the several deputations here today.Principal Government Medical College Dr. Zahid Geelani, Director Health Services Dr. Baljeet Singh Pathania, Director General Indian System of Medicines Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Director Family Welfare Dr. Baldev Raj Sharma, Controller Drugs and Food Control Organisation Mr. Nazir Wani, Project Director AIDS Control Society Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Deputy Director Health Services Dr. Ajay Gupta besides other senior officers of Medical and Health departments were present on the occasion.

The Minister informed that the department has started a new initiative ”Hello Health Minister ” under which a call centre has been set up at Super Specialty hospital, where the people can register their grievances for redressal in  a time bound manner  . He said that he himself is available to take calls on 16th of  every month  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Later, Choudhary Lal Singh also conducted a public grievances redressal camp at Kachi Chawni and took stock of the problems of the people .   He directed the concerned    officers to ensure better delivery of services to the people in a most transparent manner .The Minister also instructed the concerned officers to  reach out to the people to redress their problems  in a time bound manner.
