NABARD conducts one day Awareness program at Budgam

An awareness camp on financial literacy was conducted at ITI Wadipora Budgam by NABARD. The camp was attended by DDM NABARD, LDM Budgam, FLCC Budgam, representative from EDI, branch heads of J&K Bank, District Coordinator EDB Budgam.A detailed address was made by DDM NABARD about the workshop. He discussed the role of NABARD in rural development and various schemes which will benefit the rural population. A brief discussion on benefit of Banking system and need of Banking for students was also held.DDM NABARD and FLCC Budgam discussed  social Security Schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Surakhsha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti BimaYojana (PMJJBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
