Bali Bhagat lays foundation of dev works in Bhalwal Block
‘Says sustained dev of all areas endeavor of Coalition Govt’

Minister for Social Welfare, Forests, Ecology & Environment, Bali Bhagat laid foundation of developmental works worth Rs. 12 lakh at Bhalwal Block in Raipur-Domana constituency here today.The works include boundary wall of Government Higher Secondary School, Bhalwal, platform in the premises of Primary Health Centre and a bathing Ghat on pond. The works will be executed by the Rural Development Department under MLA’s Constituency Development Funds (CDF).
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that it is endeavor of the BJP-PDP Government to ensure sustained development in every nook and corner of the State, especially the rural areas .He said the people will see a massive change on ground, adding that the initiatives taken in recent past will start giving dividends. He said that rural areas, especially the Raipur-Domana constituency witnessed apathy of consecutive regimes and representatives and it will be his endeavor to ensure its overall development. He said the present Government believes in action on ground and not on hollow slogans and road shows, therefore, the people will get proper justice in every sector.
Responding to the demands of the locals, the Minister said a comprehensive plan to develop the constituency on modern lines is underway and shortly a practical shape will be given to it.
The plan covers upgradation of infrastructure in all essential sectors including road, PHE, PDD, education, health, sports and transport, which are the basic needs of the people. He informed that work on upgradation of all link roads in the area is in full swing and soon all the roads will be blacktopped.
He said that priority is given to upgradation of roads and power augmentation to fulfill the demands of the people of the area. Regarding the welfare schemes, the Minister said the Government has launched several people friendly programmes under Social Welfare Department and people must come forward to avail the benefits to change their economic profile. He asked the people to visit the nearby Social Welfare Centre for seeking assistance.Sectoral officers of different departments, besides prominent persons were present on the occasion.
