VC SMVDU calls on Governor N. N. Vohra

Prof. Sudhir K. Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), called on Governor N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, here at the Raj Bhavan, today.Vice Chancellor briefed the Governor about the ongoing activities in the University relating to infrastructure  development.The Governor advised Professor Jain to significantly enlarge the hostel accommodation for girl students, considering that their number has been increasing speedily from year to year. He also reiterated his concern about the need to provide the maximum possible exposure to the students through participation in competitions and varied other activities, which would raise their capacities and confidence.
