Hakim Yasin discusses NFSA, Dodpathri issue with Drabu, Bukhari

Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) president and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad YasinSaturday discussed developmental issues related with Budagam district with Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu and R&B Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari.In a statement to KNS, a spokesman of the PDF said, the MLA Khansahib also discussed National Food Security Act (NFSA) with the two ministers. “NFSA is ok, but it is to be seen how the government implements it. There are apprehensions that lakhs of people will suffer after the implementation of the Food Security Act and government must look into it,” he said.

The PDF chief also discussed issue of taking Doodpathri in PPP mode with the two ministers. “He (Hakim) demanded that the interests of the locals of Doodpathri shouldn’t suffer because of PPP mode,” the spokesman said.Hakim Yasin also urged the government that it should guarantee that the interests of the local youth of Doodpathri aren’t compromised with. “They shouldn’t suffer at any cost as people of the area have high hopes that they will get avenues of employment from Doodpathri,” he added.The MLA Khansahib also paid tributes to National Conference founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his birth anniversary.
