At least 12 people were killed on Friday in an explosion in Egypt's capital Cairo, officials said.A firebomb hurled at a restaurant killed 12 people and injured six others in Cairo, Al-Arabia quoted Egyptian security officials as saying.The attacker was an employee who was fired from the restaurant in Agouza area of the capital, an official said.Extremist militants have claimed a number of bombing and shooting attacks in Egypt, mostly against members of the security forces since the army toppled President Mohamed Mursi of the Muslim brotherhood in 2013.
