AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rashid has sought immediate resignation of education minister Nayeem Akhtar and has hold him directly responsible for creating confusion and chaos at various level in Education department.According to a statement issued to KNS, addressing a public gathering at Kathpora Sonawari Wednesday, Er Rashid accused Nayeem Ahkhtar of hurting the sentiments of teacher community and adding salt to their injuries. Er Rashid said. “There can be nothing shameful than the fact that teachers who are known to be builders of nation, have been forced to take to streets for demanding their salaries. In a civilised society teachers are the most respected and when they are forced to take to streets for their meager salaries, it indicates that something is seriously wrong within the system.

Education Minister has created many controversies which include conducting screening test of ReT teachers. He needs to keep in mind that, it was Mufti Mohammad Syed who used to distribute confirmation orders of ReTs with pride in his previous regime. Now when Nayeem Akhtar claims to have found something wrong with the process of appointment of RETs, then he should first ask Mufti Sahib to apologise for not taking the corrective measures in his previous regime.Since Nayeem Akhtar has nothing at stake as a political worker and nor he deems himself accountable before anybody due to the fact that he has managed gaining the ministerial berth despite the fact that he has not got even a single vote, as such he has found himself at liberty to execute strange and disastrous experiments in Education department.” The mismanagement and administrative failures in JKBOSE have now become the talk of the town. Er Rashid also demanded immediate rehabilitation of flood victims of Sonawari and alleged that the battle of egos and interests between the local MLA and MLC has made the flood victims, victim of politics and exploitation.
