Hospital Laboratories to be upgraded with latest facilities: Lal Singh

Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings Choudhary Lal Singh today said that Government is making efforts to upgrade all laboratories in Government hospitals with latest infrastructural facilities.The Minister was addressing a meeting of officers of Health and Medical Education department at Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd (JKMSCL) office in Narwal here.A presentation on advantages of the Pneumatic Tube Systems (PTS) was also shown on the occasion. The systems help hospitals meet patient needs by efficiently transporting drugs and specimens to and from stations labs and other areas. Ch Lal Singh on the occasion reiterated that Government is making concerted efforts to improve the efficiency of healthcare available in the Hospitals and new innovative and technological up gradations are being constantly looked into and considered for implementation.
