Rashid’s scheduled all parties conference on IIM, IIT for Kashmir

The all parties meeting announced by MLA Langate is likely to fall flat as almost every “invitee” said that they have not received any invitation regarding the meeting.The mainstream political leaders as well as the traders told KNS that they didn’t receive any invitation so far.While talking to KNS, General Secretary of National Conference, Ali Muhammad Sagar said that he doesn’t have any information in this regard.“How should we go there where we have not been invited?” Sagar questioned.Peoples Democratic Front (PDF), President Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen said that he has not received any invitation yet.“I am not going to attend the meeting as I have not received any invitation. If I will receive any invitation. I would not attend as I have engagement elsewhere,” Hakeem said.CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami will not be going to attend the meeting due to his busy schedule on the proposed date.Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) chairman also said that it has not received any invitation regarding the conference.“I am hearing the same from you and nobody came to me so far,” he said.

Engineer Rashid had last week announced to invite all political parties, MPs, civil society, trade bodies, Bar Association and other organizations for a meeting to evolve consensus for fighting for IIM and IIT in Kashmir.Rashid told KNS that he has sent invitations to Hurriyat (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, JKLF chairman Yasin Malik, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sajad Gani Lone, Hameeda Naeem, Shakeel Qalandar, Bilal Lone, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Naeem Ahmad Khan, Muzaffar Hussain Beigh, Tariq Qarra, Mehbooba Mufti, Ghulam Nabi Var, Zaffar Shah, Mian Qayoom, Muzaffar Shah, GN Shaheen, Yasin Khan and others.“I hope that all the persons are going to attend the meet which will prove fruitful to the people of Kashmir,” he said.
